What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floating Caregiver / CNA position at Silverado?
Silverado's Los Angeles County Communities are looking for a Floating Caregiver / CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to travel locally between our 6 communities! These locations will include Beverly Place, Torrance, Alhambra, Redondo Beach, Calabasas, Thousand Oaks and Azusa. This is a full-time or part time position with a set AM or PM shift schedule.
This position is responsible for covering caregiver vacations, leaves, vacancies, and/or call-ins.
Position Pay: $22-$24/hr.
This position will include a monthly travel stipend of $400 for travel between communities.
Shifts: Open to AM or PM shift candidates.

* CNA Training Completion
* Valid CNA certificate number
* Personal or professional experience as a caregiver or caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or another debilitating illness preferred
What you will be doing:
* Traveling between 6 Silverado Communities providing coverage and support where needed.
* Providing compassionate care and assistance to residents living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or another memory impairment
* Assisting residents in activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, dining, etc.)
* Building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and your Silverado team
* May also include keeping proper care records and reporting any changes to nursing team
