Silverado Encinitas is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN)!
Position Pay: $46.00 - $52.00 an hour
PM (2pm-10:30pm) Shifts will include a $2/hour shift differential.

The non-negotiables:
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Experience working as a licensed nurse in a senior care or long-term care setting with residents with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other memory impairments preferred.
- Ability to train staff in first aid and CPR desirable.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn state and federal regulations governing nursing care.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- One year of experience supervising others to include: setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration and teamwork, promoting company culture, managing change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively, resolving conflicts, etc.
- Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
- Excellent organization skills required.
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, and birds.
- Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia- related disease.
What you will be doing:
- The RN Charge Nurse will have direct supervisory responsibilities for Medication Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants and Caregivers overseeing the care provided to residents at a Silverado Community.
- Act as liaison and maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians.
- Enhance the lives of older adults by assisting them with mobility needs, daily living activities, including, bathing, grooming, and routine personal tasks.
