Penetration Tester

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Penetration Tester will perform penetration tests on computer systems, networks, and applications in order to expose weaknesses in their security that could be exploited by criminals. We are looking for a highly skilled individual who can work well independently while managing client projects. This role will be based in our Morrisville, North Carolina office.

• Manage client projects by responding to client requests, anticipating problems, and meeting their needs using innovative approaches when applicable
• Deliver high quality work to meet client expectations and project deadlines
• Work closely with the Advisory Consulting Team Manager, identifying and resolving issues
• Work with Sales, Pre-Sales and Delivery managers to scope, plan, and execute complex technical engagements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a Penetration Tester
• Knowledge of performing Network and/or Web Application Penetration Testing
• Excellent technical presentation and reporting skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate the impact and importance of detailed technical information to a non-technical audience
• An innovative and analytical approach to performing penetration testing, particularly of novel devices and environments
• Flexibility and willingness to travel both within the US
• GIAC GPEN or OSCP
• Programming skills and experience in one or more common web programming languages i.e., ASP.NET, PHP, Java
• Knowledge of the US financial market, including Credit Unions and Banks
• Skills and experience in application, operating system, database management operation, development, or security
• Exploit development or other in-depth vulnerability research experience
