What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Sales position at Silvur?
Silvur is modernizing what retirement decision-making in America looks like. We partner with financial institutions to deliver their member's world-class tools including content, calculators, and connections to their products and services to support the key decisions their customers make in their 50s and 60s.
Our white labeled B2B2C tools are used by credit unions and community banks today. In the last 6 months we’ve delivered retirement education to over 250,000 credit union members.

Silvur is at an exciting inflection point. We are experiencing rapid adoption of our platform by leading credit unions and community banks and we are looking to expand our footprint of financial institutions we serve.

As our first GTM Leader, you will join our leadership team and be responsible for closing new businesses as well as charting the strategic course for our continued growth. We’re looking for a leader who will embrace Silvur’s vision for serving Americans age 50 , and their trusted financial services providers, and translate that into a clear and actionable sales strategy for our company
Responsibilities:
- Join our leadership team team and partner with CEO to define the future sales
- Set quarterly sales targets, and exceed goals
- Build Silvur’s sales kit, including but not limited to competitive positioning, sales deck, due diligence, demo and more
- Manage full sales cycle, from prospecting, discovery call,pricing and contract execution
- In the near term, ensure partnerships are successfully implemented including overseeing customer success and contract renewals
- Build data driven process for building, managing and monitoring sales pipeline, with a focus on optimizing the process based on real time learnings
- Establish and execute thought leadership agenda (white papers, conference content) which will support the sales agenda
- Build focused outbound sales strategy around our ICP and implement the plan (email journey, outbound calls, conferences etc)
- Build the plan for the sales team, understanding that the near term sales team is a team of 1. Once we add to the team, recruit and train new sales staff, manage team, and monitoring the team's sales performance
- Assess the needs of our clients and gather feedback, including win/loss insights, to improve upon existing products/services. Provide “voice of the client and industry” to CEO and product management to drive roadmaps
- Present and pitch to c-suite executives (prospective and existing customers) as well as present sales strategy and insights to our Board of Directors
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sales executive with 10 years experience in sales leadership and sales development roles. Experience in B2B2C is key, with a background in SaaS or FinTech preferred
- Prior early-stage start up experience building and implementing sales strategy from ground up
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong sales ability, business acumen, and commercial awareness
- Ready to step into both sales strategy and sales execution- this is a team of 1 to start
- Experience communicating with and building relationships with c suite executives
- History of meeting and exceeding aggressive sales targets
- Possess a combination of analytical and strong communication capabilities: you’re able to dive into sales data to generate insights, develop sales strategies, and adjust plans to ensure that targets are met
- Experience hiring and developing best-in-class sales teams
- Love working in small companies where you can see the impact of your work. We are an early stage startup where sales leadership is critical to driving our path forward

You will be an employee of our holding company Kindur Services. Employees receive a total compensation package including salary, options, health benefits and 401k with employer contribution. Employees have a WeWork All Access Plan so you can work from any WeWork should you prefer not to work from home. You can choose the technology you need to make you excel in your role. This leadership role will require periodic in-person time, both for internal workshops and external partner meetings and conferences. Compensation for sales roles is based on OTE.
