Job Overview:

We have General Labor and Skilled Labor positions that perform various functions that include but are not limited to receiving, weighing and processing incoming metals and materials, greeting customers, and inspecting received materials.

To perform the duties of this job, the applicant must have good interpersonal skills; be patient and tactful; to be cooperative and have a good attitude at all times with managers/supervisors, co-workers, customers and visitors.

Requirement: Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and working with and around hazardous equipment, the employee must be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits
• Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators
• Inspect materials and sort items or materials into piles or places in bins or barrels according to type, size, condition, coloring marking or other characteristics
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors and conveyances
• Clean and lubricate equipment
• Sweeps and shovels residual waste from process
• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment:

While performing this job the employee will be exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment and sites can be loud. Employee is frequently exposed to all

weather conditions, including airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
