Job Summary:
Oversees daily operations of facility and coordinates daily production needs of facility. Responsible for driving best environmental and safety practices.
Major Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Communicate and train subordinate employees on company core values including safety, integrity, respect, transparency, excellence, and social responsibility.
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.
- Maintenance of all yard equipment, facility, building and grounds including contracting vendors to provide service for such.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Experience:
5 years’ experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment in supervisory roles
Other required skills/certifications:
- Good judgement, interpersonal communications, good organizations skills
- Ability to negotiate
- Minimum five years previous experience
- Previous managerial skills in a diverse, fast-paced manufacturing/production environment
- Excellent mechanical ability and strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and work from a set of written instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Flexibility to work successfully in a team
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Must speak and understand English; Spanish speaking is a plus

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to work outside under extreme temperature conditions. (Heat, cold, snow etc.)
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
