Sinai Urban Health Institute (SUHI) is seeking a Program Manager of Evaluation to work under the direction of the Director/Associate Director of Community Health Innovations (CHI). The Program Manager will serve as lead evaluator with responsibilities including data and project management, grant reporting and writing, assisting with and leading publications for peer-reviewed journals, and presenting research findings to local and national audiences. This position will be involved in CHI intervention work including breast/cervical/colorectal cancer prevention, asthma initiatives, and mitigating social determinants of health in high-risk patients (among others) as well as work on an NIH-sponsored program to help Chicago communities disproportionately affected by COVID-19.

Sinai Urban Health Institute (SUHI) is a unique applied public health research center dedicated to improving the health of communities on Chicago’s West and South Sides. Led by a team of committed and energetic social epidemiologists, community health educators, evaluators, public health professionals, and intervention specialists, SUHI uses collaborative and community-driven methods to understand the root causes of health inequities and to design and evaluate innovative approaches to improving community health and health care delivery. SUHI provides evidence-based examination of community health status and health inequities, as well as the effectiveness of behavioral, social, and disease management interventions
