Position Overview:
SIOS Technology Corp. is seeking a VP, Global Sales to lead the sales of the company’s software across global regions and through direct and indirect channels. As a key executive contributor, this role will be responsible for the leadership of the sales strategy and tactics with ownership of revenue targets for all regions. The role encompasses close collaboration with the management team across functions to set and achieve objectives. The ideal candidate is a great team player and highly motivated by the challenge of creating a high performance sales team through a foundation of sound strategy, motivated sales team, and sales processes. The VP of Global Sales will serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team reporting to our Chief Operating Officer.
You may choose to work remotely but we prefer you work in the Eastern Time Zone.
What you will be doing:
- Develop an annual sales plan to support the organization's strategy and objectives.
- Implement and execute sales policies and practices in conjunction with VP, Customer Experience and VP, Marketing.
- Ensure communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with VP, Marketing.
- Execute sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts and manage sales performance accordingly.
- Implement approved distribution strategies.
- Drive overall channel sales strategy.
- Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth
- Hire and develop a high performing and engaged sales team
- Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive plans that motivate the sales team to achieve the company’s sales targets and objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, customer experience, product management, and engineering to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
- Work closely with the Legal and Finance team to define a contracting process and ensure that the contracting processes and terms are appropriately aligned, transparent, audited, and routinely reviewed to meet the needs of the business sales goals.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 10 years of progressive sales, marketing and business development experience. Experience in high growth global technology organizations is strongly preferred
- Experience in enterprise software.
- Comprehensive understanding of business dynamics, sales environments, issues, trends, technical advancements and sales cycles.
- Exceptional communication skills, evidenced by successful executive level interactions, strong writing and outstanding presentation experience, facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to lead through change and transformation with an ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Skilled at coaching the team on how to build new sales opportunities and strategic relationships.
- Proven ability to manage strategic sales planning and operational discipline with attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and team to create a results-driven, team-oriented sales culture.
