What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reservationist position at Sipapu?
Essential Functions:
- Answer incoming calls (answering phones by the third ring) and handling reservations, confirmations, questions and complaints quickly, efficiently and courteously.
- Understand and be able to accurately explain Sipapu's full menu ongoing promotions.
- Explain lodging options, products service and other information about the resort as requested.
- Sell, process enter and confirm room reservations with the highest level of accuracy using reservations software system.
- Maintain knowledge of current resort events, activities, hours of operation, dining options and hours, etc.
- Check and promptly answer all email and voicemail messages multiple times a day.
- Check guests into their rooms by providing the appropriate room assignments, room keys, LG letter.
- Obtain and process credit card information.
- Assist guests with issues and complaints with empathy and focus on guest satisfaction. Use supervisor support when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
