Responsibilities:
- Assists in the kitchen production/workflow of large batches of marijuana infused products (MIPs)
- Ensures daily production schedule and goals set by Infusions Manager are met.
- Maintains high level of cleanliness of all workspaces, kitchen equipment and sanitation practices concerning handling of product and materials according to company procedures; reports any potential contamination to the Manager immediately.
- Ensures preparation of sample products for testing is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Insure the timely and accurate completion of all batch production records, regular preventative equipment maintenance, audits and supply orders.
- Assists in fostering a positive work environment, treating everyone with dignity and respect while perpetuating a curiosity for “everything cannabis”.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong desire to produce a high-quality product.
- Must possess basic knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Must possess basic math and computer skills
- Must be 21 years of age or older as required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission
- Able to pass all background checks as mandated by Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Experience in a high-volume kitchen or food production facility
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- Knowledge of Food Safety/HACCP System
- ServSafe Certification
Working Conditions:
- The person in this position may be exposed to dust, kief, cleaning chemicals and fumes. Although systems are in place to remove these byproducts, there is still exposure to some degree.
- Must be able to work on weekends or alternate shifts.
Physical and Other Requirements:
- Sitting, standing and walking motion/movement will be required throughout the shift
- Constant movement of hands/fingers and limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
- Constantly operates kitchen machinery and other productivity equipment.
- Must be able to inspect and detect quality defects.
- Occasional lifting, positioning or moving items up to 50lbs
