The Systems Specialist will be working on implementing an LMS system at this worksite. Responsible for helping with implementation rollout, and training.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or other relevant field is required.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Skills should include:
- Systems Troubleshooting
- Analyze hardware and software issues
- Project Management
- Help Desk/ Desktop Support
- System Administration
- Technical Analysis
- Technical Writer Skills are preferred
- Experience using Vairkko or other LMS systems is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and contribute to the improvement, implementation, and maintenance of information systems in order to optimize system performance. Implements internal controls to achieve compliance for internal and external audits, and develops the compliance protocols to include in the software and hardware audit.
- Install and configure hardware and software, and perform systems setup, daily backups, connectivity.
- Troubleshoots and analyzes hardware and software problems and issues, and provides hardware and equipment maintenance.
- Produces various statistical reports and scripts; and ensures compliance with legal and administrative requirements.
- Will work on training documentation and training system information
- Trains systems users, and creates information system user manuals and other resource materials.
- The ideal candidate should be able to translate technical information for consumption by non-technical professionals, monitor current systems-related projects and analyze company automation needs as well.
