How you'll make an impact:
The Ad Product Marketing team is crucial to the success of SXM Media, a company thriving in the audio entertainment space. It is an exciting opportunity in an extremely fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. As a Sr. Specialist, this person will be responsible for commercializing products, tools, and/or capabilities across our audio platforms.
This person will work closely with the Product, GTM, Sales, and Operational teams to develop marketplace needs, inform our go-to-market process, and create sales collateral that best equips our sellers with detailed insights as well as position SXM Media as a leader in the audio advertising space.
What you'll do:
Drive the commercialization of key product and feature launches for SXM Media
Partner with Product and Sales teams to identify use cases, market must-haves, functional requirements, and materials / proof-points of SXM Media's offering.
Create strategically sound and "street smart" sales tools on our offering. Recommend the right collateral (presentations, one-sheets, videos, etc.) to ensure sellers can articulate the product's value proposition effectively, succinctly and with high, positive impact on advertiser decisions.
Develop marketing plans that support SXM Media's products and collaborate with B2B, PR, & Industry Marketing teams to bring these plans to life.
Socialize new opportunities via internal and external communication channels; enable sales with thoughtful resources to drive understanding and confidence in the pitch.
Monitor competitive threats in the rapidly evolving ad marketing space, leveraging these to inform sales facing narrative and materials, while also serving as feedback loop to Product.
Drive case studies and larger measurement initiatives, ensuring sound results and ability to scale and impact future ad product and capability revenue.
Additional duties as needed/assigned; we are a fast-growing company, so be ready to pitch in wherever needed.
What you'll need:
BA/BS required in Marketing, Business, Economics or related undergrad degree.
Must have 4 years' experience in advertising working at a publisher or ad agency.
Well-versed in the advertising and media industry.
Comfortable with developing and maintaining solid internal relationships across the sales & product organization, from account managers and sales executives to senior vice presidents.
Deep understanding of advertising technology industry and market trends.
Strong grasp and keen passion for audio, marketing, technology, and culture.
Good public speaking and presentation skills.
Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $97,500 to $102,400 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
