Sirocco Mediterranean Restaurant is seeking Bartender to join our team in Dania, FL.
We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team and provide exceptional service to our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, taking orders, and creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our patrons. The ideal candidate should have a passion for mixology, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests to the bar and provide a friendly and attentive service experience
- Take drink orders from guests and suggest appropriate beverages based on their preferences
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beers, and wines
- Follow recipes and mixology techniques to create high-quality drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Engage with guests, answer questions about the menu, and provide recommendations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Bartender.
- Hourly wage depends on experience plus tips
- Knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and beverage service techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing drinks
- TIPS or equivalent certification for responsible alcohol service is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
