Job Description:
As a Process Safety Engineer at SIS-TECH, you will play a pivotal role in assessing the risk of process incidents and identifying means to reduce their likelihood. Your primary responsibility will be cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients while understanding their technical requirements and translating them into tailored solutions in collaboration with our team of qualified engineers.
Compensation:
The listed compensation assumes the minimum experience and education criteria are met. Higher compensation is possible with additional experience and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing technical expertise on SIS-TECH’s offerings.
2. Technical Expertise: Experience applying hazard identification and risk assessment to industrial processes is essential. Knowledge of safety instrumented system design and quantitative analysis methods is desirable. Experience with the design, operation, and startup of instrumentation and control systems is preferred.
3. Proposal Development: Coordinate the preparation and presentation of accurate and detailed proposals based on client specifications.
4. Collaboration and Training: Work closely with the engineering team to pursue continuous learning and technical knowledge improvement. This will allow you to deliver accurate information externally and ensure strong client support through seamless communication and project execution.
5. Self-Sufficiency: Demonstrate excellent time management skills and initiative to self-manage project work, client communication, and internal team collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or related engineering discipline with at least 5 years of experience in SIS (Safety Instrumented Systems) or process safety engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to comprehend complex technical information and present it to others clearly and understandably.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and budget targets.

Salary : $125,000 - $145,000
