What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Business Partner position at Sisecam?
The HR Business Partner will serve as a valued partner to the Green River, WY site leadership and employees by aligning business objectives with employee initiatives. This role will work closely with managers to recruit, develop, retain, and optimize the performance of team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Provide functional support including but not limited to: employee relations, performance management, and administration of compensation and benefit programs.
- Support hiring managers in recruitment efforts for all salaried and hourly employees to ensure the best candidates possible are selected.
- Conduct employee orientations and implement training strategies.
- Guide and train managers on the interpretation and execution of HR policies and processes to ensure appropriate legal and corporate compliance.
- Collaborate with assigned teams to maximize team member engagement, enhance and strengthen employee skills, and help achieve financial and operational goals through effective HR processes and initiatives.
- Assist in processing and analyzing data for reporting purposes in relation to established departmental goals.
- Build and enhance the credibility of HR at all levels of the organization by being accessible, approachable, and available and by keeping commitments and being trustworthy.
- Ensure effective service delivery that meets the organization’s needs.
- Up to 20% travel may be required.
Competencies and Experience
We are seeking an experienced HR professional who has relevant business experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related business field.
- Minimum 5 years of human resources experience, preferably in a respected and “best practice” manufacturing environment.
- HR knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: employee relations, talent acquisition, organizational strategy, or training and development
- Skilled in evaluating, developing, and catalyzing the level of talent within an organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess situations and make judgments based on practice or previous experience.
- Must be “hands-on” and have a detail-oriented approach to work.
- Skilled at working effectively in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated strong decision making and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated track record of excellent execution.
