What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surface Production Manager position at Sisecam?
• Effectively execute mine plans as established. Ensure proactive and immediate communication on any deviation from the plan, complete with an action plan to ensure production consistency.
• Proactively plan for and communicate both planned for and unexpected downtime (loss of production) and complete necessary root cause analysis to ensure ongoing downtime does not occur.
• Develop schedules, budget, and capital expenditure proposals to ensure effective and optimized ongoing operation.
• Develop a culture of continuous improvement and ensure appropriate training programs are in place to meet safety and production requirements.
• Transform the culture into one of development, engagement, and performance.
• Promotes Departmental Safety, training, and leadership.
• Ability to work with Surface Production, Tech Services and Maintenance Organizations.
• Compile and implement crew training, meetings, and audits.
• Identify best practices and implement within plant.
• Identify and develop process control mechanisms
• Oversee operational rates and efficiency
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a core or related science.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience working in an ISO approved business environment (preferred).
- Experience in using cross-functional team leadership using indirect influence to make change, and to collaborate with/maintain professional relationships with key partners in the organization.
- Auditing experience required, with ability to identify improvement opportunities in the auditing process and follow through with corrections/containment follow-up plans.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
