CNC programmer Job description
Purpose of the Position
This position is responsible for the programing, setting up of multi axis CNC milling machines in a fast-paced, team environment. This position will include interacting with both manufacturing and QA departments to create accurate / timely CNC programs, documentation and ensure continuous improvement of production and quality processes.
Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to:
· Ability to program complex work pieces on 4 axis equipment.
· Knowledge of CNC Vertical and Horizontal CNC Milling Machines (4 axes)
· Ability to hand-edit CNC programs (G codes/M codes)
· Familiar with the operation of DNC systems.
· Capable of designing precision tools and fixturing.
· Experience machining tight tolerances and complex geometries.
· Solid understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances.
· Programming experience of multi-task machines a plus.
· Solid Works / CamWorks and or MasterCam experience required.
In addition to the essential functions and duties listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
· Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.

- Experience in machining close tolerance components
- Strong sense of ownership and work ethic
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.81 - $32.29 per hour
