What are the responsibilities and job description for the EDM Programmer position at SITE Staffing, Inc?

EDM Programmer/Operator
Shift: 1st shift 6am-2pm
Pay: $25-$27/hour


Job Responsibilities:
1. Set-up and maintain EDM
2. Lay block in machine with print as guide
3. Indicate straightness, flatness etc...
4. Plot and test run program for accuracy and according to print spec.
5. Perform quality checks
6. Remove block by hand and clean with solvents and air gun.
7. Coordinate incoming projects and repairs with tooling department staff
8. Establish and meet project time lines.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
* 3 years' experience as an EDM programmer and operator.
* Strong time management skills
* Able to work independently
* Journeyman Card as a toolmaker would be a plus (not required)

 

Salary : $25 - $27
