Job Posting for Bill of Material/Routings Specialist at Six Axis, LLC
Responsible for creating routings for the Bills of Materials of new parts and maintaining existing Bills of Materials in the ABAS ERP system.
Responsible for the accuracy of the Bills of Materials.
Responsible for handling change control.
Become competent in using the ABAS ERP system.
Work with Machine Programmers, Drafters, Scheduling and Production teams to ensure that the BOM has the correct structure as well as the correct components and quantities in the ABAS ERP system.
Audit Bill of Materials information for accuracy and completeness, specifically: routings and process flow
Become proficient in setting up new options and/or create rules to support various build configurations.
Assist Finance and Engineering as needed in building and/or troubleshooting BOM costs.
Support manufacturing engineering and drafting staff during the design and prototype phase of new product development
Prepare weekly reports as required to support production.
Support finance, inventory control, and manufacturing during inventories.
Perform special cost analysis, prepare reports, and other related duties as assigned.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure content of BOM / Timing is always up to date.
Engage with Engineering, Drafting, Machine Programming, Production and Finance teams to resolve issues.
