What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Engineer position at SJE?
What you will do:
As our Design Engineer, you will help the Operations Teams with designing engineered control panels for use with automated industrial equipment. This position works at our Randolph, MA location.
The Job:
Every day you will design engineered panels using AutoCAD Electrical, and review/interpret specifications to build products used for industrial applications. You will develop complete bills of materials and track projects from design through production.
The skills you need:
To thrive in this job, you must have experience with designing industrial controls, creating schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, and familiarity with UL508/698A and NFPA70E standards and their application. You must be able to work individually and as a part of a team. PLC programming and HMI development skills along with a 4-year Electrical Engineering degree and 5 years of experience is preferred.
