Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting Trusses and Construction Material to customers' locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and the ability to handle heavy loads.
Duties:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks, tractor-trailers, or vans
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Communicate with team regarding any delays, accidents, or other issues
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods in a professional and courteous manner
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Commercial driving experience required
- Familiarity with route planning and navigation systems
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving of goods
Skills:
- Commercial driving skills
