The Sales Audit Specialist is responsible for the activities that support the company’s sales audit processes. This includes ensuring all sales data is properly reported in the company’s ledger; retail store deposit accounts are accurate; and assisting the various stakeholders (stores, accounting, loss prevention, etc.) in issue resolution relating to credit card, gift card and cash sales transactions. This individual must exhibit strong analytical and problem solving skills, and have effective written and oral communication skills. The role is onsite.

Essential Job Results
- Reconciliation of point of sale transactions for the US and international operations and investigating/correcting any errors.
- Completing end of day/end of period sales audit functions.
- Managing the retail store credit card chargeback/retrieval process, including investigating and responding to all credit card chargeback issues.
- Being a point of contact for our store associates on issues relating to sale transactions (cash, credit card and gift cards).
- Running daily/monthly reporting used in various reconciliation processes.
- Liaising with stakeholders throughout the company including store associates, accounting, finance, loss prevention, and IT.
- Ability to make sound decisions to resolve customer and store inquiries.
- Strong verbal communication skills, including telephone etiquette; ability to diplomatically resolve challenging customer situations.
- Strong written communication skills; ability to be clear and concise via email.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to work onsite at our Manhattan Beach, Ca office.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance/Accounting Discipline or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in Sales Audit/Accounting/Internal Audit/Retail Point-of-Sale.
- Experience with relevant software (Aptos Sales Audit preferred); proficiency in Excel required.
- Minimum two years of experience in an analytical role.
