Technical Analyst is a key role within the Software Engineering and Architecture organization, responsible for agile software delivery, have the necessary technical & business acumen to skillfully convert what (requirements) into how (solutions) with the help of the Architects, and be the glue to the engineering teams to deliver as promised. scalable, extensible, portable digital solutions for internal business and technical teams. The Technical Analyst are lead-from-the-front technology and Agile delivery experts deeply dedicated to their projects and business domains. They partner with business analysts to translate business requirements into actionable solutions/user stories and lead cross-capability development teams to shepherd those stories into working software solutions.
The Technical Analyst collaborate and work within high-velocity software engineering teams, bringing expertise in Agile software delivery. Technical Analyst are passionate, flexible Agile experts who love to practice and hone their craft. The candidate should be an experienced and motivated technologist who possesses a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. Essential Job Results-
- Align to strategic architecture vision and the technologies required to ensure delivery of business solutions at Skechers.
- Represent the Software Engineering & Architecture group in end-to-end solution conversations with customers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate skills at defining and documenting business and functional requirements for ongoing system improvement initiatives in iterative software development environments and can serve as a liaison between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs.
- Engage, collaborate, and partner with Skecher’s Finance, HR, Customer Service, Supply Chain leaders and partners across Business and Technology to understand long and short-term business strategies, provide architecture leadership, and engage in proactive planning of an executable Design.
- Actively contribute to a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in processes and methodologies with the ability to adapt and improvise in different situations.
- Build trust and confidence with solutions to various business stake holders assuring expected tech outcomes and desired results.
- Own the writing and presenting of presentations around end-to-end architecture strategies, solutions, and best practices to stakeholders.
- Working with business closely to collect requirements, converting into functional and tech requirements for internal team to deliver.
- Design solutions and engage with development teams until delivery to review the requirement traceability meeting business needs and expected outcome.
- Work with implementation partner, Workday and take assistance as needed on external integrations to systems.

The salary range for this position is $65,000-$140,000/year.
Job Requirements
- Conceptualize and solution for key business use cases in collaboration with Business and Engineering partners
- Work with HR stakeholders to design highly available solutions
- Collaborate with Architects to document reference architectures, take assistance when needed for high level technical designs.
- Participate in Well Architected Reviews with solution architects as needed.
- Break down design plans into actionable project plans, tasks for the development team to digest in agile sprint cycles.
- Understand the business & application requirements and translate them into system / technical requirements
- Collaborate with the engineering teams, in particular the Solution Architects, to define and validate the technical approach, strategy, and deliverables for the program. As the key member of the team, you’ll also prepare and deliver presentations, process flows, update documentation repository and deliver work products.
Build and communicate the technology strategy and roadmap for the Skechers platform that will be aligned to the business strategy. - Experience in implementing highly scalable web applications and services.
- The Technical Analyst is a mix of both business and technical role, but more emphasis to the technical expertise. The candidate must be broadly competent across many areas of technology (Application, Analytics, Integration, Databases, Security) and in-depth knowledge in a couple of these are highly desirable.
Education and Experience-
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant experience in software implementation
- 5 years of experience with technical systems analysis, solutions, and working with teams on implementations.
- 3 years supporting eCommerce platforms, or Order Management/ERP integrations.
- Extensive experience documenting development requirements, process flows, testing requirements, coordinating code reviews and documentation signoffs.
- Possess HR Integration experience specializing in building the systems ground up with foundational designs and best practices.
- Exposure to End-to-End Order flows, User flows and HRMS integrations (Workday, Oracle, SAP Success Factors, Salesforce, Aptos, Active Omni etc…)
- Conversant in both technical and business acumen.
- Basic understanding of the cloud and solution design principles.
- Experience in XML, XSLT, Webservices, and using Rest APIs.
- Have experience in analysis and/or implementing enterprise application using cloud platforms
- Ability to lead user workshops, capture, define/refine requirements, write business and system use cases, design process workflow/activity diagrams; experience with a business process mapping tool is a plus.
- Huge plus to have AWS knowledge and understanding of API Gateway, Serverless services with previous experience
- Prefer expertise and experience in Workday HRMS module implementation, configuration.
- Experience in Workday EIB, Workday studio, Workday CCB, Core Connector is a plus
- Any No/Low Code Data Integration tools like Boomi is a plus
- Strong data management and analysis skills, including experience with data mapping, data standardization, data clean up, and data consolidation is a plus.
