Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director of Treasury, the Treasury Analyst will assist in delivering the day-to-day Treasury functions of Skechers. This position will collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization and play a key role in supporting the advancement of the company’s strategic financial initiatives. The position will be primarily responsible for cash management and forecasting, treasury management system (“TMS”) operations, merchant acquiring and payment acceptance. It will also assist in cash forecasting and working capital optimization programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-
- Analyze and consolidate cash position and forecasts among many regions to optimize working capital and manage foreign exchange risk management.
- Oversee merchant services including managing relationships, opening/closing accounts, and resolving related issues.
- Serve as the primary administrator for online banking platforms including administration and initiating cash transfers.
- Organize and maintain records related to banking and merchant services, internal and external audits, and investments.
- Conduct fee analysis and recommend bank account structures and services.
- Review debt and capital structure.
- Manage, maintain, and optimize the TMS.
- Develop and implement treasury policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Prepare reports/presentations related to cash, investments, and debt.
- Perform various essential treasury functions such as payment release, KYC documentation, compliance reporting, and other duties as assigned.
- Manage capital raising transactions of various forms.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS-
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, or closely related field. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred, but not required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in treasury operations; cash/investment management, and debt administration.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management.
- Experience working with multi-national and multiple currencies.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
- Computer competency and advance knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing across all levels.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative on assignments and projects, and problem-solve within a team environment.
- Retail industry experience preferred.
