Carpenter Responsibilities:
- Install and finish interior elements such as doors, windows, moldings, trim, cabinetry, and other fixtures according to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform detailed finishing work, including sanding, painting, staining, and varnishing to achieve a high-quality final product.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Accurately measure and cut materials to ensure proper fitting and alignment, using various hand tools and power tools.
- Repairs: Assess, repair, and restore damaged woodwork and finishes while maintaining the original aesthetic.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and building codes, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Carpenter Qualifications:
- 3 years of proven experience as a carpenter
- Able to read blueprints
- Must have your own tools
- Your own reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 or 30 is a plus
Salary: $25 - $27 per hour Pay based on experience and skill set.
