OVERVIEW
As an Experienced Aircraft Painter/Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing, priming, painting, and finishing aircraft components and structures according to industry standards and specifications. You will work closely with our engineering and maintenance teams to ensure the highest quality finishes on all aircraft.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an aircraft painter/prepper.
- Proficiency in preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying coatings.
- Knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and application methods.
- Familiarity with aircraft painting standards and regulations (e.g., MIL-STD-2135, ATA 103, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must pass a standard DOT drug test, criminal background check, and general physical.
- Must be a US Citizen
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint and coatings using various techniques such as spraying, brushing, and rolling.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired finishes and textures.
- Ensure all painting equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with hazardous materials.
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
PAY & INCENTIVES
- $30-34 hourly
- Split per diem to those who qualify
- 1-Month paid hotel
- $500 bonus after 6 months of employment
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
