What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Member - Route 4 position at Skyline Chili?

Team Members provide Skyline Time service to our guests in an enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing, fun, wholesome, clean and safe manner. While each Team Member is hired for a primary position (Server & Production), each team member may be asked to assist in fulfilling other position duties. It is desirable that each Team Member be cross-trained in each duty.
Server
Responsible for dining room and/or counter service to guests. Communicates food order to Production Team Members. Process guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis. Prepares and delivers beverages, silverware, crackers and food. Observes guest-dining experience, responds to additional guest needs, gives guest check, and clears table.
Production
Responsible for preparing food orders quickly and according to standard recipes to ensure quality and avoid waste. Communicates with other Production & Server Team Members to expedite guest food orders. Process guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis.
Work Requirements & Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching and lifting. Job requires substantial repetitive motions of the wrist, hands and fingers.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. This can include cases, service trays, spaghetti lugs, bus tubs, trash cans, and any other item up to that weight several times per shift.
- Ability to follow all health and safety laws, policies and procedures. Frequent hand washing is required.
- Follows all required procedures outlined in Skyline Chili’s cash handling policy.
- Possess basic reading, writing, math and computer skills.
- Displays professional and appropriate image and appearance.
- Outgoing and willing to serve the public in a positive manner.
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and pleasant manner.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age and possess all documents and permits required by law.
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required.
