Accounting Analyst - Job Description
General qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, 7 years’ experience in accounting for mid-size company. We are looking for high achiever, hands on professional accountant. Must be able to navigate through system to pull reports. Must have experience in journal entries and putting entries into the general ledger. Experience in Profit & Loss Analysis, budget and client relations. Point of contact for managing the SLA Management accounts being the liaison between the client and the accounting department. Candidate must possess exceptional leadership and communicating skills.
Technical Skills:
- Accounting software— accounting software; Intuit QuickBooks; Intuit QuickBooks Premier; Netsvite
- Database reporting software— ADP Super Report Writer; SAP Crystal Reports
- Development environment software— extensible Business Reporting Language XBRL; Microsoft Visual Basic
- Office suite software— Microsoft Office
- Operating system software— Microsoft Windows
- Spreadsheet software— Intermediate to advance Microsoft Excel -Pivot Tables, Vlookups, IF Formulas
Position Scopes:
Plans, track and collaborate on the administration of the Accounting Department ensuring the consistency of established processes.
Closely working with the Accounting Manager and CFO to optimize the accounting process and deadline accomplishment. Monitor the accounting team on the day-to-day duties and reports. Receive specific instructions from the CFO and effectively deliver instructions, follow ups and plans creating a team alignment to meet a pre-defined objective.
Acts as a Liaison between the clients and the accounting department to guarantee that client request is answered and resolved in a timely manner archiving the client satisfaction.
Professionally and proactively provide feedback to the CFO and Senior Accountant of areas of opportunity to improved process and align team focus or behavior.
Able to support the accounting team and be acting on the following areas as needed: account payable, account receivable, payroll, Staff Accountant and Senior Accountant.
