Slalom Los Angeles is looking for a Data & Analytics Solutions Director that will be pivotal to driving the ambitious growth of our Data & Analytics practice and act as a strategic technical advisor to business development partners, both sales and account executives. In this role, you will meet with and evaluate client business objectives and help them evaluate and arrive at the best-fit technology solution, all while ensuring high-quality delivery of the entire suite of offerings in Data Strategy, Data Engineering, Data Visualization, and Data Science. This role will have the autonomy and entrepreneurial freedom to help shape the practice vision within the LA market.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $175,000 to $281,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

Slalom Los Angeles is looking for a Data & Analytics Solutions Director that will be pivotal to driving the ambitious growth of our Data & Analytics practice and act as a strategic technical advisor to business development partners, both sales and account executives. What You’ll Do
- Own direct revenue responsibility of $5m .
- Manage individual utilization target of 40% and support overall team utilization goals.
- Accountable for driving sales, recruiting, account management, consulting, and support operational aspects within the Data & Analytics practice.
- Drive overall growth of the practice area through a combination of business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadership.
- Lead business development activities alongside Slalom colleagues and client leaders, plus continuously nurture executive-level relationships.
- Maximize team performance through an effective team approach that increases productivity and job satisfaction.
- Manage engagement risk, and project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, defining deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
- Enhance Slalom’s culture and exemplify our core values on a day-to-day basis.
- Provide thought leadership & IT transformation recommendations, as well as technical & architecture guidance in Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, and other technology areas.
- Develop solutions that leverage modern technologies such as AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure along with the major tools that continue to disrupt the Data & Analytics landscape.
- 10 years extensive professional experience in the Data & Analytics domain, as well as a proven track record of success in leadership consulting and technical roles as a solutions architect within the Data & Analytics space
- Demonstrated track record of successful delivery of multiple projects concurrently, including designing and developing large complex Data & Analytics solutions
- Proven history of leading, motivating, and engaging high-performing teams that delivers exceptional outcomes for customers and unforgettable experiences for our people
- Ability to sell Data & Analytics solutions to clients through proposals, RFP responses, and SOWs, and who can grow new accounts from the ground up including closing deals of more than $1 million in value
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work collaboratively with a diverse team, interface with senior-level client executives, and have a commitment to inclusivity.
