Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform advanced-level tasks using special equipment for floor care and other custodial work.
Trains lower-level custodians on the proper procedures and safety protocols for all custodial work.
May serve as an assistant supervisor to lower-level custodians by making schedule recommendations, reviewing work performed, utilizing work order systems, and preparing supply requisitions.
Clean and sanitize restroom and bathroom areas using established practices and procedures.
Ensure all floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, and maintained per the Master Cleaning Schedule and as assigned.
Refill all restroom dispensers to ensure an adequate supply of paper products as assigned.
Performs specialized floor maintenance and upkeep utilizing established protocols and industrial-grade machinery.
Acts as the primary point of contact for the notification of janitorial supply inventory needs.

Can perform minor building maintenance such as changing light bulbs and replacing air filters.
Complete all monthly, quarterly, and annual deep cleaning tasks identified in the Master Cleaning Schedule and as assigned.

Required Qualifications: One year of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work.
