We are looking for an Onsite Service Desk Manager in Gaithersburg, MD to support a local team of strong Service Desk Engineers.


Help Desk Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage team of 8-10 on-site service desk technicians
  • Oversee scheduling, attendance, work distribution and quality
  • 5-10 years of experience in a Service Desk manager role, MSP experience a plus
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Incident and request lifecycle management
  • Managing escalations and ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Making recommendations to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience as a Help Desk Manager or in a technical support role.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
