They have managed the portfolio projects required to deliver the contractual end item product or service. In addition, they have had responsibility for enhancing the quality of existing programs; developing and implementing strategy for the program team; developing a robust risk mitigation plan; understanding how different projects interlink and overlap; working with HR to manage staff and resources for the program; liaising with the marketing and communications team to increase awareness of program; managing budgets and funding; reporting on program performance; developing industry partnerships; and ensuring relevant standards, process and regulations are upheld.
