DETAILS ABOUT THE BOOKKEEPER POSITION:
This hybrid position combines the talents of a video editor and graphic designer. You’ll be the key production contact on our team, reporting to Director of Marketing & Communications. The Multimedia Manager will be responsible for producing high-end visual, textual, and animated content for our marketing channels that engages viewers.
There’s a need on our team for someone who can be an asset to this growing company by working both efficiently and skillfully. While it’s important for the candidate seeking this position to be able to adapt to the look & feel an established brand, there’s also the freedom to be creative outside of those minor limitations. Please be prepared to showcase both a design portfolio and an editing reel.
Your Primary Responsibilities in this role will be to:
Design visual content for print and digital applications that is on-brand, reinforces our status and reputation, and is appropriate for our various audiences
Design the layout of materials for internal communications
Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify communication of complex concepts and data
Edit video clips for use on social media platforms
Create short videos to highlight, recap, and promote various endeavors and events
Assist our team in developing and executing communications plans
Provide technical support for design- and video-related efforts
Maintain organized content files, and help to organize and archive existing video and graphics files
THIS POSITION IS FOR A PERSON WHO:
Has an understanding of the core principles of design
Is creative and passionate about being creative
Has a sense of urgency and can rise to the occasion
Has a strong sense of attention to detail
Is a terrific communicator and is always aiming for a positive outcome
Has the willingness to learn new products and apply best practices
Has above average experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (namely Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign, Acrobat), Final Cut Pro, and Microsoft Office
OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH:
This is a full-time position with a starting wage of $24 – $27 per hour, based on experience, with a range of benefits available after reaching specific employment benchmarks.
