Dentist General - Looking for a general dentist for a very busy children's/teens dental office in Pinole. At least one year experience preferred but not required. Established 30 -year-old practice.

Smart Start Dental is seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Dentist to join our growing team. We are a fee-for-service group practice that believes in providing patients with the best possible care through state-of-the-art technology and premium services. We treat children & teens to 17 yrs. old. If you have experience treating children / teens and love working in a very busy practice, we want to meet you. We need a dentist to perform examinations, operative treatment, and some minor crown & root canal therapy.

For fearful children, we offer sleep dentistry in our surgical department. Reducing the stress for both child and staff, this unique portion of our practice creates a tremendous asset to both patient and practitioner resulting in a “stress-free experience” for all. We have our own anesthesiologist physician. Never have to worry about managing fearful patients. We provide an environment of safety so you can focus on delivering quality treatment and let our anesthesiologist provide a stress-free environment for both patient, parent, and practitioner. This is not mandatory however it is an option should you choose to expand your knowledge base which leads to a higher compensation.

Keep your adult skills sharp by performing some minor root canal therapy and crowns.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients
• Educate patients on maintaining proper oral health
• Communicate with dental staff and lead your team to success
• Grow your leadership skills and business expertise
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and technology

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
• General Dentist DEA
• 1 year of General Dentistry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Active state dental license in good standing
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Member / provider of Dentical (If not a member, we will do this for you)

Compensation and Perks for General Dentist

• $208,000 - $300,000 per year
• Signing Bonus $5,000
• From $750 per diem guarantee plus commission on production
• Saturday Exam Day, work half day and be paid for full day.
