RSI Group has an immediate need for Forklift Operators.
Competitive candidates will have forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive aftermarket industry.
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Using a forklift or other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks, and move product around the warehouse
- Checking for damaged goods
- Preparing product for shipping
- Staying aware of possible hazards
- Recording data about the products they are moving
- Other related duties as assigned
- A desire to learn new technologies and motivation to go above and beyond minimum requirements.
Requirements
Required competencies include:
- Forklift operating experience, previously licensed preferred
- Knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements
- Organizational and process skills with the ability to itemize and record stock for inventories
- Knowledge of industrial storage procedures, such as the correct way to stack pallets
- Effective communication skills
