Sanitation Supervisor

3V is a leading SQF level three certified manufacturer of fruit-based beverage concentrates located in Clifton NJ. Our products and customers range across a variety of industries and we have an established reputation as innovators within our space. We are currently in a period of growth and are looking to build out our operation and departments to commensurate with our rate of growth. We are looking for a skilled Sanitation Supervisor for our 2nd shift, responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing an effective sanitization program. The execution of this operation will be according to regulatory and SQF requirements and in alignment with 3V’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Establishing and directly leading a sanitation team

· Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the sanitation team

· Conducts performance evaluations to ensure sanitation team is meeting company standards

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Audit equipment cleanliness and ensure that documented operations procedures are followed

· Ensure proper staffing and provide technical direction and training for all sanitation associates.

· Monitor daily execution of Master Sanitation Schedule and develop/modify sanitation procedures.

· Assume responsibilities of two Sanitation Technicians in their absence and perform all work assigned to the Sanitation Technician position following specifications, instructions, and requirement.

· Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· 2-3 years of Supervisory experience in sanitation within a food/dairy manufacturing/processing or equivalent food plant experience

· Proficient in GMP

· Working knowledge of sanitation chemicals and thorough knowledge of their usage and application

· Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.

· Supervisory and team leading experience

· Ability to use and operate sanitation equipment

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of standing

· Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

• Monday to Friday (4pm to 12am)
