Math/ELA Tutors

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Tutor to provide academic support and guidance to students in various subjects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles. Tutors are being asked to work with middle school and high school students both individually and in group settings 3 days per week during school hours. Schedules will vary.

Duties
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans based on students' needs
- Assist students in understanding complex concepts in ELA and Math
- Utilize creative teaching techniques to engage students and enhance their comprehension
- Provide feedback on student progress and areas for improvement
- Support students with special education needs or childcare responsibilities

Skills
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development to tailor lessons effectively
- Strong knowledge in Math and ELA subjects
- Experience working with children or students in an educational setting

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.79 - $32.37 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 24 per week
