QC Technician
SmartTalent is hiring for a Food Production company in Redmond. This is a Temp to Hire QC Technician position that offer full time hours. Ideal candidate will have Food Production and/or QC experience, be able to lift 35lbs and be motivated to learn and grow.
PAY: $23
LOCATION: Redmond, WA
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm/8am-5:30pm

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assures the food safety and quality of all products produced by the plant, through compliance with company standards and governmental food handling practices.
- Performs on-line quality and sanitary checks performed for operations conducted at the assigned production facility, using HACCP compliance and measurement.
- Evaluates finished product quality (grading, physical and/or chemical analyses of finished product).
- Accurately reports and records test results to include daily report distribution and/or data input into Q.C. computer base.
- Initiates corrective actions to deviations noted during processing.
Qualifications:
- 3-6 months seafood or industrial food production, or QC experience preferred. Experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment also considered.
- Working knowledge of algebra and the ability to perform math calculations.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrates good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
