$60,000 to $100,000 per year including commissions

Our business model is simple: Smash My Trash uses proprietary technology to reduce the waste volume in roll-off dumpsters by as much as 70%, saving business owners money, time, and aggravation. Customers can save 20% or more on their waste hauling – savings that can add up to tens of thousands of dollars per year.
Smash My Trash is serious about environmental stewardship. Our service significantly reduces vehicle CO2 emissions by decreasing the volume of hauling trucks on the road, and we reduce landfill space required by increasing the density of every haul. The Role:
Responsibilities include developing and executing the sales strategy from building the pipeline to closing deals. You will identify and target potential customers, show them how our service dramatically lowers their waste disposal costs and manage the sales process to close.
Waste haul rates in our area are much higher than the national average. That means bigger savings for customers, larger contract values, and higher commissions. Our primary customer base is made up of industrial, manufacturing, logistics, and construction businesses, but if there is a trash dumpster on site, we have a potential customer. There are hundreds of potential customers in the territory.
Our value is clear, but this is a consultative sales job. You will help the customer maximize their savings by understanding their specific needs and concerns. Customer happiness is the key metric of our success. If you hate cold-calling, this job probably isn’t for you.

Responsibilities:
· Report directly to the owner/operator of “Smash My Trash- Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Southern Westchester”.
· Prospect and identify potential customers and contacts. Set face-to-face appointments, cold calls, and maintain contact and pipeline information in our CRM system. You will develop and qualify leads as well as follow up on inbound leads from our national and local marketing.
· Make sales calls and in-person contacts with industrial, manufacturing, and construction businesses. You will be in the field a lot.
· Facilitate Smash Truck demos to prospective customers.
· Create compelling proposals for customers. Presenting proposals to prospective customers and following up to complete the contract and sale.
· Maintain client relationships to ensure long-term happiness for our customers
Minimum Qualifications:
· Self-starter that can prospect, cold-call, and build a pipeline from scratch. You will work hard and get paid accordingly. Wants to EARN great money by providing incredible customer service, hustling, and generating long-term business.
· Ability to make sales by listening and asking questions. We are in business to serve our customers and that starts by understanding their needs and concerns.
· Communication skills are important. Helping your customers understand the process and benefits will help make long term customers.
· Strong work ethic and interest in growing your career with additional responsibilities
· Must be ethical, reliable, and sincere. Building trust is essential to succeed in this job.
· A strong sense of urgency and a client service mentality.
· Tech-savvy – You will be using email, drafting proposals to your potential and existing customers. You will be using our proprietary software and apps on your computer and smartphone to do your job.
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
