We are excited to announce a new opportunity available for a Psychiatric Registered Nurse to work at our outpatient clinic located right in Long Island City NY. Our organization has been helping to save lives within the underserved community for over 30 years. You would join a team of RN’s, social workers, and prescribers and treating mostly adult patients suffering from various forms of mental health illnesses. Title: Psychiatric Registered Nurse
Location: Long Island City NY
Salary: $85,000 to $95,000 full benefits package
Responsibilities for Psychiatric Registered Nurse:
Conducting assessments of patients in outpatient facility
Participating in team meetings when necessary
Giving IM Injections when necessary
Reviewing patient records
Making referrals when necessary
Reviewing patient drug test results
Monitoring patients medical health
Working closely with prescribers and social workers on site
Documenting notes in EMR System
Requirements for Psychiatric Registered Nurse:
Associates Degree of Nursing
Psychiatry experience preferred- not required
Active New York state RN license
Strong communication skills
BLS
Attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
