SOFTWARE DEVELOPER IN TEST II, PITTSBURGH, PA (AND VARIOUS UNANTICIPATED LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE U.S.)   RESPONSIBILITIES:   DESIGN MOBILE PERFORMANCE TEST PLANS, ANALYZE SOFTWARE TESTABILITY REQUIREMENTS, AND BUILD SOFTWARE TOOLS FOR TESTING. TEST A VARIETY OF SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, INCLUDING MOBILE APPLICATIONS, SERVERS, AND BACKEND PLATFORMS. PERFORM TESTS ON DEVELOPED PRODUCTS USING SCRIPTED TEST CASES. WRITE TEST CASES BY IDENTIFYING AND VERIFYING SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS AND DOCUMENTING TESTS AND RESULTS. IDENTIFY SOFTWARE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ISSUES AND TROUBLESHOOT AND FIX ISSUES. RESPONSIBLE FOR VALIDATION, DEPLOYMENT, AND SUPPORT OF SOFTWARE TOOLS.   QUALIFICATIONS: THIS POSITION REQUIRES ABACHELOR'S DEGREE* (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, COMPUTER SCIENCE, OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED FIELD, PLUS 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED OCCUPATION.   *Employer will accept THREE (3) YEARS OF ACADEMIC COURSEWORK IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, COMPUTER SCIENCE, OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED FIELD in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.   SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:   REQUIRES ONE (1) YEAR OF EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE WITH THE FOLLOWING:   1.       BUG REPORTING AND SOFTWARE FROM INCEPTION TO RELEASE; 2.       CREATING AND MAINTAINING TEST CASES AND TEST SUITES; 3.       TEST PLANNING AND EXECUTION; 4.       ANALYZING AND REPORTING ISSUES AND VERIFYING FIXES; 5.       RUNNING RELEASE QUALIFIERS AND WRITING AND MAINTAINING AUTOMATED TESTS; 6.       WRITING FRONT-END AUTOMATED TESTS FOR ANDROID AND IOS PLATFORMS USING JAVA AND SWIFT LANGUAGES; 7.       WRITING BACKEND AUTOMATED TESTS IN PYTHON; 8.       TESTING FRAMEWORKS XCTEST, UIAUTOMATOR, ESPRESSO, BEHAVE, AND IDES: ANDROID STUDIO, XCODE, AND PYCHARM; 9.       HTTP DEBUGGING WITH CHARLES PROXY; 10.   LOGCAT, ABD, ANDROID MONITOR, AND GIT; SQL, OBJECTIVE-C, AND RESTFUL APIS.   MUST POSSESS EXPERTISE/ KNOWLEDGE SUFFICIENT TO ADEQUATELY PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB BEING OFFERED.
