What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Smith & Nephew?
Responsible for unloading daily warehouse shipments from all carriers that bring in materials
This position will be required to maintain accurate inventory handling in assistance to cycle counts, Material put-away, Picking, and Shipping
Ensure compliance of all company processes
- Perform Materials duties, including but not limited to:
Move all product to the next assigned area
Process inbound shipments through goods receipts and put a-way
Maintain a secure and organized area
Ensure that no materials leave assigned work are without the proper paperwork
Maintain and operate material handling equipment
- Maintain a clean and neat work area
- Work in team environment using the skills of communicating, listening, and participating in developing continuous improvement on products and processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Responsibilities:
- Laptop, viewing inventory locations via access database
- Stocking bin locations in production cells
- Stocking supermarket locations by production cells
- Cardboard disposal, taking it down to compactor
Location: Oklahoma City
Education: High School degree
Licenses/ Certifications N/A
Experience. : 0-3 years
Physical Demands : Be able to lift 25 lbs
