Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and drive sales.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases
- Utilize product knowledge to offer recommendations and upsell products
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Handle cash transactions and ensure cash handling procedures are followed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
- Proficient in basic math for transactions and inventory management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Knowledge of retail math concepts for pricing and discounts
- Ability to supervise or lead when necessary
- Familiarity with conducting product demos is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette for customer inquiries
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
