We are looking for an experienced and skilled BBQ/Grill Supply or major appliance manager with remarkable skills, who will run our store effectively and with attention to detail. Our manager candidates are required to be in constant contact with the staff and customers. They need to be able to ensure their staff provides the highest quality customer services and monitor the overall financial performance of the store.
The responsibilities of a manager are to greet the staff and customers, provide them with what they need, give intelligent recommendations and suggestions, build customer and brand trust, assist the staff with anything they need and make sure the customers have a great shopping experience. More importantly, a perfect store manager candidate should be reliable, accommodating, courteous, and friendly to ensure that the customers are fully satisfied.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- This role will report to the business owner.
- Ensure that the store is appropriately staffed and effectively opened and closed each day.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized store; facilitate a safe and secure working and shopping environment.
- Meet and exceed personal and store sales goals and standards of performance.
- Provide a fun, full-service experience to all customers.
- Train and develop a successful sales team.
- Facilitate the efficient staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise by following defined company work processes.
- Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations.
- Plan weekly staffing schedules in compliance with schedules policy.
- Resolve customer issues effectively.
- Ensure that all merchandise is presented according to established practices; utilize merchandise fixtures properly including presentation, product pricing and signage.
- Ensure the financial integrity of the store through strict cashier accountability, key control, and adherence to company security practices / cash control procedures.
- Provide superior customer service leadership.
- Responsible for every aspect of everyday supervision of the store.
- Responsible for resources management.
- Recruiting and appraising, training, and supervising staff.
- Dealing with customer complaints and queries.
- Overseeing stock and pricing control.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
- Ability to perform Lightspeed POS functions and generate reports.

WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent walking and standing.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling, to assist customers, stock merchandise and unload trucks.
- Frequent handling of merchandise and equipment such as hand-held scanner, box cutters, merchandise containers, two-wheel dollies, and forklift.
- Frequent and proper lifting of large and heavy inventory.
- Occasional climbing (using ladder).
- Reliable transportation required to make bank deposits and occasionally to attend client or vendor meetings/training.
- Fast-paced environment; moderate noise level.
- Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Three plus years of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
