About the role:
Smooth Commerce is looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our Toronto team. As a UX/UI Designer at Smooth Commerce, you will be responsible for working alongside the product and engineering teams to refine existing features and define new functionality to the product.
What will you be doing?
- Lead end-to-end design projects, including scoping and ideation, user research, user flows, wire-framing, prototyping, and developer handoff
- Build and maintain our design systems by defining design standards across the platform, guiding proper usage and compliance
- Collaborate with developers to understand technology requirements
- Collaborate with QA to ensure implementation is consistent with designs
- Work collaboratively with product, onboarding, and customer success teams to balance business objectives with end user client needs, and attend client meetings as needed
- Build industry-leading solutions by staying up to date with design best practices and latest technologies
- Translate business goals and objectives into digital experiences
- Assist in the creation of sales and marketing collateral as needed
