JOB SUMMARY
- Perform physical activity in a plant environment
- Demonstrate proficiency to read and consistently follow templates, engineering drawings, specifications and written work instructions;
- Operate a variety of powered mechanical, electromechanical and/or manual tools, including but not limited to cutters, buffers/sanders, pneumatic drills, wrenches, punches, hand-held maul, measuring equipment and other devices.
- Visually monitor operations of curing equipment.
- Identify, select and apply specified fasteners and other necessary hardware.
- Use prescribed personal protective (safety) equipment, including but not limited to: respiratory protection, gloves, eye wear, and/or other devices.
- Coordinate fabrication and assembly with co-workers/team, honoring stop/check points for supervisory and/or other devices.
- Communicate planned, ongoing or completed production activity to team supervision in a timely manner using appropriate process documents, travel cards, statistical process control charting or other advanced quality system.
- Work extended or extra shifts, if customer requirements cannot otherwise be reasonably satisfied.
