What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at SMTS, Inc.?
SMTS, Inc. has an immediate opening for a scheduling specialist. The applicant would be responsible for assigning local and long-distance trips for transit drivers, taking trip requests from riders, and working with community organizations in Dent County. Job duties include coordinating drivers, client location, and destination for all requested trips, communication between the driver, other area service coordinators, and vendor, and processing associated paperwork. This position is fast pace and requires multitasking capabilities. Prior dispatching or coordination is preferred. Experience in Microsoft Office, Windows 10 Operating Systems, & network file-sharing preferred. Excellent phone skills, organizational skills, and flexibility with hours are a plus.
