What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Smurfit Kappa?
Responsible for management of various processes/systems, performing financial analysis and successful and timely delivery of ad hoc projects.
Primary Duties
- Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. SKNA employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.
- Month-end close and reporting; quarterly reporting
- Rolling Forecast and budget consolidation and reporting
- CAPEX coordination, ensuring requests are completed properly, spend limits are respected and approvals are received timely
- Preparation of reporting for the Corporate Controller and CFO.
- Purchasing rebate tracking, consolidation of SKNA Divisions and reporting to Group headquarters
- Employee expense coordination and management of related tool (Concur)
- Additional duties assigned by management
Job Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, dealing with individuals at all levels within the organization
- Proactive, self-starting individual who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Analytical, capable of identifying and implementing process improvements
- High energy, with the ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency - Advance MS Office (Excel pivot tales and V Lookup)
- BA degree required in Finance or related field, Masters or CPA is a plus
