We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented bilingual Staffing Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the recruitment process for both hourly and salaried positions, overseeing onboarding procedures, converting staffing agency employees to Snak King employees in accordance with union policies, and ensuring compliance with HR guidelines and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for hourly and salaried positions, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and extending job offers.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, and networking events to attract top talent.
- Onboarding:
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Conduct new hire orientation sessions to introduce employees to Snak King’s culture, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Staffing Agency Conversion:
- Manage the process of converting staffing agency employees to Snak King employees in compliance with union policies.
- Coordinate with staffing agencies and internal departments to facilitate a seamless transition for employees.
- Maintain accurate records of conversions and ensure adherence to all regulatory and company requirements.
- HR Compliance:
- Uphold HR guidelines and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Address employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
- Union Relations:
- Work closely with union representatives to ensure all staffing practices comply with union agreements.
- Handle union-related matters and grievances in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Must be bilingual
- 2 years of experience in recruitment, onboarding, or HR roles.
- Familiarity with union policies and experience working in a unionized environment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HR guidelines, compliance, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
