The Snap One Manufacturing Test Engineering team creates testing solutions for a broad range of Snap One’s award-winning home automation and entertainment products. As an MTE Technician, you’ll work with team in supporting the development, fabrication, and use of our test systems. You’ll collaborate with other Snap One team members and with manufacturing partners worldwide to provide high-quality cutting-edge testing solutions for our portfolio of industry-leading and innovative products. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is goal oriented and emphasizes accountability for delivering results.
Responsibilities
- Assist with fabrication, assembly and wiring of test fixtures and systems
- Troubleshoot and support PC-based test systems
- Help create, review and maintain system documentation
- Analyze and improve test fixtures and processes to improve test reliability and reduce cost.
- Participate in the validation of test hardware to ensure reliability and consistency of test methods and equipment.
- Provide technical support for systems in operation, including at overseas design and manufacturing partners.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Electronics, software, or other relevant technical degree and 1 Years of relevant technical experience or 3 years of relevant experience
- Troubleshooting experience with electronic circuits
- Mechanical assembly and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communications skills, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with technical drawing, using CAD software or Visio
- Experience with business tools such as Excel and Word
- Experience with electronic circuit assembly, including soldering
- Experience with fabrication techniques such as 3D printing and CNC-based machining
